How to get more $

Okay. So tomorrow's Flag Day! Let's help the less fortunate as much as possible, k?

To do that, we'd have to ASK the RIGHT people to DONATE. From my single experience in doing Flag Day, I've come to realise that it is these groups of people who'd be more willing to part with their cash, so do look out for them!

1) Foreigners
The currency exchange rate favours them. Therefore, more spending (and donating) power.

2) Couples
This works ALL the time. Somehow people (esp. the guys) wanna impress their partners and show that they're really generous or sth, so they'd tend to donate quite a bit. (Oh, btw, this doesn't really work for married couples, though...)

3) People you know
This includes family, friends, acquaintances, EVERYONE you know and have said "hi" to. I guess they wanna 'give you face' and would thus donate.

4) Little schoolgirls
Not that it's a bad thing, but they're usually really nice and kindhearted and would feel that it is their duty to help the less fortunate! (I was once like that. Hey, actually I still am, I think... ;D) And maybe they like the cute little stickers you hand out to them after they put a few coins into the can... But then again, there's the ethical issue of whether we should ask them or not coz they are not earning their own pocket money (which should be pretty limited) and all...

And oh, remember that to do Flag Day, we've gotta be thick-skinned!
All the best, 401! Let's collect as much $ as possible (:
